Welcome to the New York State Cooperative and Experiential Education Association (NYSCEEA) webpage! Experiential education is a philosophy and methodology that builds knowledge, develops skills, and clarifies values. Through learner engagement, 'real world' experience, along with professional mentorship and supervision our students can Do More, Be More & Expect More! Experiential Education = Future Success. Established in 1974, NYSCEEA is a professional association dedicated to promoting and developing quality experiential & cooperative education work experiences for college students. NYSCEEA has been established as NY State's premiere association, connecting employers and colleges.
Our membership includes representatives from educational institutions and employers from the public and not-for-profit sectors throughout New York State and the northeastern region of the United States.
The commitment of professionals such as yourself to experiential & cooperative education continues through professional development and theoretical advancement. Now more than ever, it is imperative that Institutions of higher learning & employers support experiential education. Experiential education is crucial for the future success and advancement of the “next generations.”
