A Message from the President...

Happy Spring! 

Your NYSCEEA Board & Conference Planning Commitees are in full conference planning mode!  We are still looking for Conference Planning volunteers and greatly appreciate your support! 

We have secured some very interesting workshop speakers (workshop proposals are still be accepted & needed) and a wonderful Keynote (details to follow in the weeks ahead). And I don't think we could have picked a more relevant theme this year than:

Resiliency Today, Success Tomorrow. 

As we continue to face the overwhelming pressures of being asked to do more with less (Yes, that was our 2011 conference theme!), becoming resilient is key to our success and survival.  We all feel these pressures, both professionally and personally and I'm sure this year's conference will help you with both.  

So, West Point here we come!  And to see the breathtaking October foliage - priceless!

NYSCEEA News:   We are excited to have worked jointly with the Mid-Hudson Career Consortium (MHCC) and are offering: A Resume Writing Workshop on May 22, 2012 at Mount Saint Mary College (details on this page).

As a reminder to our NYSCEEA Members, we consistently send out information through our 'listserv',  if you haven't been receiving NYSCEEA information make sure you have opted in (any questions email me at info@nysceea.org and if I can't help - our technology chair will.  Also, please make sure we aren't going in to your junk box...).
